In an effort towards raising awareness regarding the important skills required while conducting Online Training sessions, Skill Council For Persons With Disability (SCPwD) in collaboration with DFID, UK and National Star College UK hosted a webinar for trainers on the 15th of July 2020.

The hour long recorded webinar is designed towards helping trainers, teachers and support personnel during this challenging time of the pandemic to provide quality teaching to trainees with disability and those with any additional learning support needs. The 8 modules also explore the barriers to learning being faced by trainees and give effective strategies to overcome the same in order to increase the accessibility and ensure optimum outcome.

The session can be accessed by over 35,000 trainers working with ScPwD and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) as well as the training fraternity beyond, providing a good starting point for understanding disability better and establishing cost effective ways of delivering engaging learning online.
